A family obsession with the grill.
Shashlyk started in 2011 from a tiny East London kitchen with one charcoal grill and a recipe scribbled on the back of a postcard from Tbilisi. Today we serve thousands of Londoners, but nothing about how we cook has changed.
We source fresh British meat, marinate overnight in our family's secret blend of wine vinegar, onion and spice, and grill every skewer over real lump charcoal — never gas, never shortcuts. It's slower. It's smokier. It tastes like home.
